Snowboarder Kevin Pearce is Regaining Consciousness
Posted in Editorial by Rami | Tags: Kevin Pearce, Snowboarding Injuries
Finally, some good news about Kevin Pearce’s condition as his doctors just upgraded his injury from critical to serious condition. According to his doctors, this is a very positive step forward however Pearce still faces a long recovery.
In case you’re not aware of the incident we reported a couple days ago, Pearce had been training in the halfpipe at Park City, Utah, for this week’s Olympics qualifier at Mammoth Mountain Ski Area, and was knocked unconscious when he caught his toe-side edge while landing a cab double cork — a twisting double back flip maneuver he’s landed before.
All the best to Pearce, his family, and his close friends!
