The Snowtunnel Concept
The Snowtunnel is a patented design that allows snowboarders/skiers to ride and ski all year round. The makers claim that unlike other artificial environments, the Snowtunnel uses a fraction of the energy costs. From the video below you can really see how that is probably the case. The Snowtunnel concept is designed to work standalone or as part of a larger facility. I watched the video and went through their pictures and while the idea is very cool, the riders didn’t seem like they were getting much of an experience. But then again, I’ve never tried it.
