This site is EXCELLENT ADVICE!!!!!! THANK YOU SOO MUCH for explaining all the details about snowboarding so well for the Dummie!!
I just started snowboarding and LOVE IT! I bought my own boots yesterday and want to buy my own board soon but had (just as with the boots) no clue what to look for, what to consider, what not to do, etc.
So this Site helped me tremendously knowing what to look for and getting familiar with all the important terminology!!!
AWESOME WEBSITE!!!!!

Hey Joanna,

I'd recommend that you get something that reaches your chin or just a bit higher. What kind of riding are you planning on doing? If you're interested in a rocker, I'm assuming you're more of a freestyler.

I'm interested in buying a rocker. Is there a difference as to what height I have to choose? I've found the Forum Star which is 142 and 149 and I'm not sure which is better for my height. I'm 160cm (5'2'') and 51kg (112 pounds).

Thanx
Jo
