Jones Snowboards Launched

Jeremy Jones, best known for, well, being famous snowboarder Jeremy Jones, has recently launched a new snowboarding line catering specifically towards freeriders (surprise, surprise!). Backed by his 25+ years experience in the snowboarding line and the skill that undoubtedly won him the Snowboarder  Magazines ‘Big Mountain Rider of the Year’ Award not once, not thrice, but EIGHT separate times (yes, seriously!), Jones looks to not only just launch the line — but make and maintain it competitively.

With a passionate and hard-working business model, Jones plans to also ensure that his line receives a massive research and design side, a move that almost assuredly confirms that he’s planned for a well-rounded quality-control approach.

According to Jones from the press release officially announcing the brands launch:

“I have started Jones Snowboards to develop the highest performance allmountain snowboards on the market,” says Jones. “Freeride boards that reflect everything I’ve learned both on the snow and in the factory. Every snowboard we produce will be born of my passion and our designs will mirror the performance  demands of my riding matched with the environmental demands of my conscience.”

Jones chose the family owned Swiss Nidecker as the engineer and manufacturer for his snowboarding line, primarily for their long-standing and highly-regarded reputation within the snowboarding industry. In addition to this, Nidecker is also known as one of the top innovators in snowboarding production today and their technological approach to what they do only makes the announcement of Jones’ snowboarding line that much more exciting.

It would definitely be a good idea to keep an eye on Jones Snowboards from this point forward into the future because all signs are pointing towards incredibly good things from them. Check out Jeremey’s blog post on this announcement.
